City Secretary
The City Secretary the Town of Pine Island, TX serves as a cornerstone of municipal administration, ensuring transparency, accountability and efficient daily operations of the local government.
In this capacity, the City Secretary maintains and safeguards all official city records, including meeting minutes, ordinances, resolutions and municipal codes. The office prepares meeting agendas and informational packets, provides public notice of official meetings and acitivies, and ensures accurate documentation and archival of all municipal proceedings.
The City Secretary also supports sound fiscal management by assisting with budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and maintaining financial records. The Secretary administers oaths and certifies official documents.
In service to the community, the office responds to public information requests, issues permits and liscenses, collects associated fees, and prepares reports addressing civic needs. The City Secretary collaborates with City Officials and Staff to implements policies and priorities, while also providing administrative support for municipal events and special activities.
